My friend Jen's daughter, Brooklyn, is my mini-BFF. She was the flower girl at my wedding, and I've helped homeschool her and her older brother since 2014. I was working with them as a tutor/nanny so the family began calling me "Moddy Poppins".
When Brooklyn came up with the idea of making our imaginary friend "Alexa" into a puppet, and I soon after started getting orders for more, the name
was born.
